Verizon Wireless Hosts Back-To-School Drive To Benefit Northview Elementary In Kansas

MANHATTAN, KS — The Manhattan Verizon Wireless Communications store is teaming up with Northview Elementary to help members of the community get ready to go back to school. School supplies will be collected at the Manhattan Verizon Wireless store on August 10-12, with donations going to Northview Elementary School.

“We are so happy to be in a position to help local schools in the community,” said Brendan Fallis, president Kansas/Missouri region, Verizon Wireless. “Verizon Wireless is committed to the communities we all call home, and it’s always refreshing to see neighbors helping neighbors.”

As a token of appreciation for their donations, customers may receive a small gift while supplies last. At the Manhattan Verizon Wireless store, a limited number of Kansas State University football tickets will be handed out to those who donate.

During the back-to-school drive, residents are encouraged to drop off supplies at the local Manhattan Verizon Wireless store, located at 100 E. Bluemont Ave., during regular business hours, Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m. – 8 p.m., and Sunday, 12 p.m. – 6 p.m. Needed school supplies include packs of paper; packs of pens and pencils; notebooks; folders; and three-ring binders.
