WILLIAMSPORT, PA — Verizon Wireless customers will soon be able to experience the speed and capabilities of America’s largest 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network in Williamsport, Pa., when the company introduces the network here in the coming weeks.  With the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network, customers can experience innovative technology in their everyday lives through solutions such as HomeFusion℠ Broadband, viewdini and more, all made possible by 4G LTE.  

Currently, the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network covers more than 75 percent of the U.S. population in 371 markets across the United States.  The Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network covers more than 70 percent of the Philadelphia region, including Greater Philadelphia, the Lehigh Valley, Harrisburg, Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and large portions of southern New Jersey and Delaware.  When Verizon Wireless 4G LTE launches in Williamsport, customers who visit or live in areas including Avis, Linden, Mountoursville, Montgomery, Muncy, Pennsdale and Hughesville will be able to surf the Web, stream live music and video, and stay in touch with family and friends at speeds up to 10 times faster than before.  Coverage will also include both the Jersey Shore Borough Airport in Lycoming County and the Williamsport Regional Airport.
