Columbia, Missouri, Officials To "Flip The Switch" For Verizon Wireless 4G LTE

COLUMBIA, MO — To celebrate the launch of Verizon Wireless’ 4G LTE in Columbia, U.S. Representative Blaine Luetkemeyer (MO–9), Boone County Presiding Commissioner Dan Atwill, and members of the Columbia Chamber of Commerce will meet with Verizon Wireless Business Sales Director Jon Mahony to symbolically activate the Verizon Wireless 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network.

The new market launch will provide customers in the Columbia area access to the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network to locally surf the Web, stream music and video, quickly access over-the-air applications, and stay in touch with family and friends at speeds up to 10 times faster than before.  Verizon Wireless will now cover more than 410 markets across the United States with the nation’s largest 4G LTE network.
