WHAT:                                  Verizon Wireless’ 4G LTE network is coming to Menominee, Mich., on Dec. 20.  Verizon Wireless customers in Menominee will be able to experience the speed and capabilities offered by the nation’s largest 4G LTE network when the company introduces the service tomorrow.                                            

WHERE:                               In and around the city of Menominee including Menominee-Marinette Twin County Airport and Riverside Golf Club, and east along Lake Michigan.

BACKGROUND:                 On Thursday, Dec. 20, the network will launch in 29 new markets and expand in 36 existing markets to offer 4G LTE service in a total 470 markets throughout the country.  Two years after its launch, the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network  offers more 4G LTE coverage than all other competitors’ networks combined, with coverage currently available to more than 250 million people throughout the United States.  

Earlier this year, Verizon introduced its 4G LTE wireless network in Hancock, Mich., Houghton, Mich, Marquette, Mich., and Ironwood, Mich.
