WHAT: Verizon Wireless recently expanded fourth generation (4G) Long Term Evolution (LTE) network coverage in and around Portsmouth, New Hampshire and York, Maine. 4G LTE empowers Verizon Wireless customers with compatible devices to surf the Web, post status updates and photos, and download files wirelessly at speeds up to 10 times faster than customers on 3G networks.
WHERE: Verizon Wireless first introduced its 4G LTE network to New Hampshire’s Seacoast in August 2012, and to Maine’s beaches in June 2012. Recently, the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network further expanded within the following neighborhoods and communities:
