The most recent WilNet enhancements include "End-To-End" service type option, and the incorporation of WilNet service to Canada as an integrated part of the growing WilTel international private-line network offering. WilNet is a family of dedicated telecommunications services supporting digital communications from 9.6 Kbps to 45 Mbps.
Customers use international WilNet private- line services to carry intra-company communications between their U.S. and foreign office locations. This traffic may contain data, voice, facsimile, video or image communications. The addition of the WilNet End-To-End service type ensures every international WilNet customer specialized installation and maintenance services featuring single point of responsibility for ordering, installation and on going support.
A distinct benefit of the End-To-End service type option is that customers do not have to invest resources to manage the task of dealing with multiple vendors in order to get a circuit installed on time. Also, if problems are experienced, a single contact resolves the problem, saving the customer time and energy. WilTel recently announced international WilNet private-line service with Traditional half-circuit and 3C (Complete Circuit Coordination) service types availability to more than 50 countries worldwide, and was one of the first interexchange carriers to offer direct-dial telecommunications service to Cuba.
