Ken Dixon is Verizon senior vice president and group president of the company’s consumer markets line of business. He is responsible for all sales, marketing, operations, and customer service strategy for voice, data, and video services in Verizon’s wireline territory.
Most recently, Ken served as president of Verizon’s Wireless Northeast Market with responsibility for the company's sales operations in 10 states including the New York Metro, New England, Philadelphia Tri-State and Upstate New York areas.
Previously, Ken was senior vice president and chief marketing officer for Verizon Wireless with responsibility for all brand management and marketing initiatives for the company, including the management and development of mobile products and services, media buying, agency management and website integration.
Ken has also served as president of Verizon’s Wireless Midwest Area, where he was responsible for the company's operations in the Great Plains, Illinois/Wisconsin, Kansas/Missouri, Michigan/Indiana/Kentucky and Ohio/Pennsylvania/West Virginia regions.
In addition, he served as region president for the company's Georgia/Alabama, Upstate New York and New England Regions, and vice president of Operations and Distribution in the Mid-Atlantic Area.
Dixon joined the wireless industry in 1992 and has held several management assignments in sales, operations and marketing. He earned a bachelor's degree from Syracuse University in Syracuse, NY.
