What you’ll be doing...

As SAP Integration Solution Architect in Platform Services in the Global Technology Services Corporate Systems group, this individual will lead strategic and transformation initiatives such as 1ERP global transformation. The Integration Architect/Lead is responsible for Integration strategy, Architecture, Design and Development and secure connections adhering to CISO, security standards, policies and recommendations to deliver business value. He/she will be leading Middleware technologies SAP PI/PO, SCPI and APIGEE, taking a broad based view of business processes across core functional domains for both domestic US and global business entities to integration solutions across SAP platform and boundary systems across the ecosystem. This role will interface with product owners, agile product teams, platform services and strategy & operations in order to fulfill the stated primary goal.

  • You will ensure successful implementation of all Integrations and interfaces development in ERP.
  • Work with CISO and AWS security team for review and implement security policies and standards as per project timelines.
  • Orchestrate key proof-of-concept to assess the potential business value of new middleware tools and technologies. Also, ensure systems are scaled and optimized to meet the business requirements and SLA’s
  • Support Interfaces Audit’s and Application and data security requirements.
  • Lead Integration team, provide guidance to team members in onsite and offshore in Architecture, design and ensure following standards and best practices in Interfaces development.
  • Work closely with Process Area Leads, application teams and external partners in developing Interfaces as per business requirements.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for any integrations and Interfaces requirements, issues and questions related to ERP Integrations.
  • Support critical and priority projects with best quality, scalable considering long term needs and future volume increase etc.
  • Analyze SAP and partner roadmaps along with market trends to determine their potential impact to current systems. Provide guidance on system builds and co-ordinate with external/internal partners.
  • Develop central dashboards for monitoring, logging and build alert framework as per business and IT needs for proactive monitoring to identify and address any issues ahead of time avoiding business impact.
  • Build self-healing , auto recovery capabilities using ML/AI and vendor tools.
  • Proactively seek, identify, and make recommendations for areas of improvement.
  • Develop strong relationships with offshore team members and ensure clear direction and tasks are assigned.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Solution Integration Design, Configuration and Architecture: Lead 1ERP integrations across all projects using PI/PO, SCPI , Seeburger and APIGEE, ensuring successful implementation of all interfaces in timely fashion following best standards, architecture strategy, CISO/Security requirements and recommendations in design and development. Provide thought leadership in development, ITC and production support to address any defects in terms of performance, scalability and error handling. Lead development team or managed service framework to complete development and deliver solutions, including new capability upgrades. Engage with product agile teams to review solution and garner signoff or approvals.
  • Agile Delivery/Quality Assurance/DevSecOps: Guide teams across IT, business and vendors to deliver disciplined Quality Assurance and solution delivery via Agile methodology. Full responsibility leading integration and performance testing across internal or external systems, build alignment with product agile team to perform user acceptance testing, acquire signoff. Drive quality, speed of delivery and security/data privacy through QA automation and DevSecOps tools adoption. Establish governance to ensure full compliance of audit, controls and security requirements. Coordinate with internal and external partners to establish connectivity and create centralized monitoring dashboards/alerts using Splunk/logging tool. Build self-healing and auto-recovery capabilities to identify and resolve any issues proactively.
  • Run & Operate: Own and lead all facets of platform application integration maintenance and optimization for ERP applications to ensure product reliability, data quality, reduce cost of ownership and meet SLAs. This includes developing and realizing best practices such as ITIL, Business Continuity, Automation, Run IT like a Factory or implementing best in class tools to drive demand reduction. Lead production deployment, cutover or cloud migration activities with TechOps engineering teams. Engage the vendor for any major production issues, and lead the product development teams on resolution and root cause. Establish plan and measure production support SLAs, ensure security remediation / security by design and deliver Cloud/DevOps modernization. Provide leadership updates, on outage and solution to avoid future production outages.
  • Strategic Leadership: Lead innovation and “Build vs Buy” to deliver best in class solutions. Develop technical strategic roadmap to drive customer experience and improve operational financial cost controls. Work with vendor to build or innovate capabilities into their product roadmap through participation in SAP conferences, production innovation and design thinking workshops or analyzing latest trends to deliver value added functionality. Deliver enterprise level impact through influencing organization(s) to deliver solutions using the latest trends or technologies.

This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in middleware integration, working directly with PI/PO, SCPI, Apigee on the SAP S4/HANA platform together with specialized SAP products/add ons such as MDG, BRIM, Ariba, IBP, PaPM etc and Workday.
  • Experience with at least three full lifecycle SAP and/or ERP implementations.
  • Knowledge of ERP product integration points. Applications include SAP S/4HANA and Cloud (e.g., BRIM, Ariba, IBP).
  • Experience with SAP PI/Process Orchestration (PO) 7.4 and above and CPI/APIM.
  • Knowledge of and experience with PI/CPI monitoring and architecture.
  • Knowledge of Web Services with configuring of Adapters like IDOC, RFC, FILE, JDBC, SOAP, WS, REST and JMS and B2B Integrations.

  • Experience in creating on-demand metrics/analytics and dashboards for monitoring, logging. Building alert framework for proactive monitoring to identify and address any issues ahead of time avoiding business impact. Building self-healing, auto recovery capabilities using ML/AI and vendor tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop innovative solutions to business problems.
  • Ability to review code and system configurations to develop a deep understanding of the systems solution that supports the corresponding business process.
  • Ability to debug systems to analyze and resolve issues.
  • Well-versed in researching and identifying SAP Notes to resolve issues.
  • Experienced in creating and tracking SAP OSS notes and working with SAP to resolve issues.
  • Hands-on access and exposure to the latest technologies.
  • Ability to guide other technical teams in implementing solutions based on business requirements.
  • Ability to leverage DevOps and Agile to deliver solutions.
  • Global delivery experience (onshore/offshore).
  • Security and Vulnerability remediation. Experience with security by design.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and triage problem reports, resolve, and escalate as required.
  • Desire to learn and apply new technologies where appropriate.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand business concepts and financials with respect to the IT solutions delivered.
  • Experience in business analysis, developing and measuring KPIs and managing projects.
  • Experience and knowledge of change management and application maintenance principles, methodologies and tools (e.g., ITIL).
  • Possess critical thinking, organizational, research, and oral and written communication skills.
  • A strong attention to detail.
  • Proven leadership skills and capabilities.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and the corresponding ability to quickly provide sound decisions and recommendations.
