We are looking for a People strategy initiatives Product Manager-Performance management, Rewards/recognition, Skills, Career pathways / mobility, Talent Marketplace, Talent Intelligence ,Integrated experience with LXP/Learning systemsAs Talent Management and Learning Domain Lead, partner closely with the people team to build a foundation for the project efforts by capturing the business context – problem definition, current state, objectives, business case, desired future state definition, etc. and possible methods of configuration within the various Workday HCM Modules (Core HCM, Recruiting, Learning, Compensation, Talent etc.)

  • Collaborate closely with the Talent and Learning business to understand their needs. Obtain and document Workday HCM requirements for all setup values, business processes, and integrations.
  • Serve as a technical advisor on our most complex issues regarding Workday APIs, security, authentication and integration solutions, providing technical knowledge and answers to questions regarding their use.
  • Work on and own People projects, end to end, with varying levels of complexity. Gather, document and evaluate end-user requirements by working with multi-functional teams. Prototype and configure based on project requirements. Handle testing, identify test scenarios/use cases, help develop test scripts and implement UAT with the project team. Ensure solution designs are in line with security, scalability and best practices. Strong quality assurance skills to minimize risk through use of audits, checklists, repeatable processes and attention to detail.
  • Work individually or within project teams and participate in all phases of the development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, transition, and support; set expectations and determine the timing of availability and delivery of integrations.
  • You will be responsible for empowering business with the innovative solutions as well working across multiple domains within the Human Resource product technology area.
  • Evaluate and prioritize integration opportunities with individual stakeholder groups; determine the scope and hurdles for any future integrations; review security/privacy requirements, data elements, and any development requirements and specifications that the technical teams will need to build out any integration.
  • Work closely with the Corporate Systems Product Managers to prioritize the backlog and assign development work to support continuous development across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Work with product owners, domain SMEs and enterprise architects.
  • Develop positive relationships with all HR/HRIS teams and is responsible for the overall program/project coordination, initiation, planning, execution, management, and closing. This person is responsible for projects of moderate to high complexity with leadership impact, influence and visibility.
  • Lead development and execution of product/portfolio strategies and plans, taking into account product life cycle stage and the customer experience
  • Working across customers, Architects, and other stakeholders to convert solutions into realizable business value.
  • Challenging, inspiring, collaborating, inventing, and asking why are crucial to your success.
  • Elevate the voice of Design and Research across the organization, advocating for customer empathy and a human-centered approach.
  • Partner with leaders in product, engineering, marketing, and analytics to define the high-level strategy and bring clarity to what is most important in the short and long term.
  • Identify places to improve consistency and process across teams, including support for holistic customer journeys and design systems, across channels and experiences.
  • Capture and synthesizing information from usability tests, discovery sessions, on-site research (and more) into actionable insights and recommendations
  • Apply organizational change management concepts and techniques including training, communications, and assessment surveys is an important part of this role.
  • Work with Product Analysts (Business analysis )responsibilities are also part of the person’s position including business process definition, alternatives analysis, and data analysis.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience
  • Workday Talent, Learning experience as a Product Owner or Domain Architect or Product Manager experience.

Even better if you have

  • Bachelor's degree or higher; or combination of relevant education, training, and experience.
  • Detail oriented with superior analytical, problem solving, pragmatism and organization skills
  • Demonstrable experience working in project oriented hard-working teams
  • Influencing the Workday product roadmap, understanding and articulating business needs to drive and evaluate/set roadmap priorities;
  • Deep knowledge of Workday's Business Process Framework and Security with Learning and Talent along with Alerts, Report Scheduling, etc.
  • Good attention to detail, goal oriented. Must be able to effectively manage multiple activities and/or projects concurrently.
  • Adaptability, flexibility, and a willingness to work within changing priorities including ad hoc requests.
  • Commitment to excellence in delivery of customer service.
  • Comfortable in working with personnel at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with productivity software like Microsoft Office and Google Apps (Docs, Sheets, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of software development, testing, maintenance, and support.
  • Mentorship skills to provide guidance and timely feedback for other developers.
  • Knowledge of the Atlassian suite of products strongly desired - Confluence & Jira.
  • Knowledge of Workday Extend and Adaptive Insights is a plus.
  • Knowledge of integrating with Cloud technologies like Amazon Web Services (AWS) OR GCP is a plus.
