What you’ll be doing...

The Brand & Creative Strategy Associate Director will have the opportunity to make Visible known to a digital first generation of wireless customers. This person will be responsible for leading an exceptional team of brand strategists, creatives and culture enthusiasts who develop and deliver Visible’s identity in communications. This is a senior and critical role in the marketing organization that will establish a strategic plan for how Visible becomes known and drives growth as part of the Verizon portfolio.

Visible is breaking the mold for how wireless service should serve its members and provides incredible connectivity for people who are comfortable with digital first behaviors. As such, this role will lead brand strategy, creative, social and creative operations. The team the Associate Director will lead is responsible for development and oversight of all communications for Visible and your role will lead the team, agencies that we partner with and be the internal leader defining how we show up with consistency of messaging. This role is responsible to unify our messaging as appropriate across paid, owned and earned channels. This role will work closely with cross-functional marketing teams, multiple agencies, and our commercial team, e-commerce and product teams.

  • Leading team to develop brand strategy that connects with Visible’s members and prospects.
  • Working closely with Insights and Analytics to understand our prospects and build strategy to be most relevant in their lives.
  • Developing the approach for a cohesive Omni channel experience that effectively engages customers at all touchpoints throughout the customer journey.
  • Developing briefs for creative work in partnership with marketing strategy, commercial and insights team and lead briefing of creative agency partners.
  • Working and leading creative agency partner(s) in the development of world class creative.
  • Leading role in creative agency selection when needed.
  • Delivering the creative content and assets for the Visible brand and products.
  • Developing world class creative for Visible brand and product that stands out/breaks through category.
  • Leading the development of product messaging strategy that is both in concert with brand and expressing individual campaign or products unique reason for being and value proposition to customers.
  • Working with campaign management and consumer insights for mastery of our target segments and groups of customers and developing creative that best impacts these segments.
  • Developing content messaging creative strategy for all paid and earned consumer engagements.
  • Leading and promoting continual connectivity of your team with campaign managers throughout the creative process to drive 360 creative output on strategy to each campaign.
  • Unifying the Visible voice in social/owned content to connect and amplifying engagement with customers.

Where you’ll be working…

This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.

What we’re looking for...

Visible is growing fast and we’re looking for a leader who has a pulse on culture, marketing, the category and what the future looks like and how to be relevant in our member’s and prospects' lives. We’re looking for someone who is consistently thinking ahead to build communications for the long term while also living in the ‘day to day’ retail nature of the category and flexible to pivot quickly as needed to drive growth.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in creative/brand strategy and/or creative-specific account management roles with two or moreyears leading a team.
  • Agency and/or client-side experience leading creative development and ultimate output of world class creative.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Experience with governance and guidelines for creative assets throughout the enterprise to deliver creative excellence at all touchpoints.
  • Retail/CPG and/or Telecom Experience.
  • Expertise in e-commerce and digital creative.
  • Management of creative agency relationships.
  • Expertise in leading marketing teams that have delivered full-funnel marketing strategies (brand marketing & performance marketing).
  • Experience in client side organizations.
  • Ability to collaborate with non-directs to drive change.
  • Ability to inspire confidence with internal and external constituents.
  • Ability to be Collaborative; willing to roll up their sleeves with the team.
