This position will be responsible for supporting daily Accounts Payable processes including but not limited to pay cycle processing, research, track and process EFT/ wire returns, research and resolve EFT/wire reconciliations, track 1042 foreign vendor mailing, create and maintain process documentation, build adhoc queries for reporting and data requests, perform system testing, and support projects as assigned. Will evaluate and recommend changes to Accounts Payable policies and procedures to streamline processes and enhance automation. Work closely with Accounts Payable management/staff and other Finance departments in support of time bound processes.


Required Skills & Experience

- Strong working knowledge of accounting fundamentals

- Strong analytical, problem-solving and reconciliation skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Quick learner and self starter who has the ability to work independently or within a team environment

- Accustomed to working with deadlines

- Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment

- Detail oriented and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy

- Excellent Excel, Word, and 10-key skills

- Ability to write and document a process

- Strong working knowledge of Accounts Payable systems, preferably SAP and PeopleSoft

- Technical understanding of ERP systems

- Demonstrated experience serving internal and external customers/suppliers



Desired Skills & Experience

- Associate Degree in Finance or equivalent work experience

- 4 - 5 years accounts payable experience with an emphasis on Pay Cycles

- Works well in a team environment

- Ability to adapt quickly to new procedures and systems

- Familiarity with quality tools and principles

- Fundamental knowledge of desktop software packages designated as necessary to do the job
