Additionally, you will be able to participate in many different kinds of learning experiences (such as executive sessions with legal and business leaders in the company, legal training workshops, practice area meetings, and collaborations with some of our partner law firms). What you learn during this internship will help you grow professionally and personally.
After the internship is successfully completed, you’ll become part of our Intern Alumni Network, with the opportunity to remain connected with your assigned mentor, exposure to top law firms, and inclusion in our annual alumni events.

In this role, you may have the opportunity to:

  • Participate in negotiations with large enterprise customers/partners.
  • Review and draft provisions for contracts and amendments supporting various departments (e.g. sales, marketing, technology, etc.).
  • Participate in weekly meetings with various legal executives and legal leads in different practice areas.
  • Research and summarize legal developments and/or case law in practice areas such as Litigation, Antitrust, Real Estate, Product Development, M&A, Compliance, Marketing, Labor and Employment, IP, Tax and Privacy.
  • Contribute to projects that relate to state and/or federal regulatory issues affecting the communications industry.
  • Produce written work product (subject to our confidentiality restrictions).
  • Participate in pro bono work assignments.
  • Attend tours of various Verizon locations such as retail stores and cell sites.

You must be currently enrolled in a degree program and be in good academic standing to be considered.
