What you’ll be doing...

Corporate FP&A Team

Move beyond reacting to change and help drive and manage it. This role will be part of the FP&A Capital Planning, Reporting, and Transformation Team. As a Manager in FP&A Technology Enablement you have the opportunity to drive better business processes and results, while growing your leadership and interpersonal skills. You will excel in coming up with digitally enabled solutions, executing on the new information and analysis, and then recommending strategic decisions based on the derived insights. You will be considered a valuable business partner and your contributions will make a difference!

This role includes, but it not limited to, the following responsibilities:

Technology Enablement

  • Cross functional digital transformation initiatives to interpret and translate data into insight.
  • Build self-serve adoption models and drive the expansion of visualization tools (e.g. via Qlik, Looker, or Thoughtspot) and develop new analysis techniques to drive better understanding.
  • Lead development of Knime or Alteryx workflow automation for Capital Reporting objectives.
  • Leverage and drive adoption of the Capital Team’s new Oracle EDM hierarchy editor solution.
  • Function as a SME on the team in regards to our digital tools, solutions, and platforms.

Driving Transformation

  • Communicate with and influence stakeholders at all levels of the business through effective framing and syndication of analysis performed on major programs.
  • Conceptualize and define success criteria to assess impacts from strategic initiatives while driving collaboration with key business partners to achieve alignment on what needs to be provided in support of these initiatives, timing, and how the findings/insights be delivered.
  • Partner with the Financial Planning & Analytics Services (FPAS) to solution for the needs of the Capital FP&A community as a whole.

Capital Planning & Reporting

  • Identify reporting issues, perform root cause analysis, and work with key stakeholders to resolve them timely and effectively.
  • Resolve complex business performance issues and present insights on the consolidated internal reports and external presentations.
  • Provide strategic financial and operational insights utilizing recurring performance reports, ad-hoc analysis, and performance reviews.

Business Partnering

  • Collaborate with technical, finance, and product and content stakeholders and incorporate different KPIs and ad-hoc analysis to deliver impactful insights relevant to these business partners.
  • Analyze complex data sets to derive findings/recommendations and to present these findings in concise, easily digestible manner to business sponsors/senior executives to drive the company's priorities/ensure the quality and delivery of all products/services.
  • Provide decision support and guidance; lead ad-hoc presentation development and executive review; present and communicate to all levels of the business.

This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.

What we’re looking for...

You believe that solid data should be behind every important decision. You are a numbers person but you also have a strategic mindset. You bring both a business perspective and an understanding of the marketplace - and not just theory and numbers. You have a knack for understanding and visualizing just the right way to share data and practical insights so that people can understand.

You’ll need to have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Analytics/Business Intelligence, Statistics or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of Data Visualization and Analysis, particularly creating dashboards and executive reporting (e.g., Qlik, Looker, Thoughtspot).
  • Project management experience.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A Master's in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or Economics.
  • A professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, PMP).
  • Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast changing environment with changing priorities and changing time constraints, and ability to lead and influence cross functional teams.
  • Ability to interpret business requests and communicate findings effectively.
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint communication and presentation, experience in Google Slides.
  • Proficiency in Qlik, Looker, Thoughtspot, Knime, or Alteryx.
  • Advanced understanding of report query and design; knowledge of DW data domains; and able to extract data using SQL queries.
  • Experience investigating and solving complex problems and data discrepancies.
  • Experience in design, implementation, and operation of internal controls.
  • Visualization/storyboarding skills to present insights and recommendations in concise, intuitive, narratives.
  • Executive presence and presentation experience.
  • Experience leading cross-functional team projects with minimal supervision.
  • Process design, implementation, and change management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement initiatives, root cause analysis and project management.
  • Strong strategic skills, with the proven ability to identify and assess key points, implications and recommendations.
  • Ability to effectively bring change/challenger mindset.
