What you’ll be doing...

In this role, you’ll support the Verizon Business Group Service Now Change Management applications. You will collaborate with teams to deliver strategic programs end to end for Verizon Enterprise Customer segment. You will also be getting an opportunity to work on transformation programs.

  • Understanding the Business requirements, design a business solution and work with different functional teams to deliver the solution.
  • Identifying and aligning project requirements and conducting impact analysis.
  • Collaborating with the business teams, external vendors, and other internal IT teams to deliver projects on time.
  • Using professional concepts and company policies and procedures to solve a wide range of complex problems in creative and practical ways.
  • Involving oneself in one large and/or complex project at a time; develops schedules to ensure timely completion of the project.
  • Receiving general guidance for the accomplishment of short to medium term goals and operating objectives.
  • Developing ServiceNow software solutions using JavaScript, Jelly, Web Services, MYSQL, XML, HTML and CSS.
  • Configuring out-of-the-box workflows and create/maintain custom workflows.
  • Configuring application related fields, forms, views, email notifications, acceptance roles and access controls.
  • Integrating ServiceNow application(s) with third party systems/applications via APIs.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in Service Now especially on modules of ITSM and TSM, Virtual Agent, Service Portal, Mobile App development.
  • Experience in Service Now on IT Operations workspace, Data segregation, Employee Centre, etc.
  • Experience in ELK stack, New Relic, IBM MQs, Rabbit MQs, Kafka.
  • Experience in SRE practice, DevOps and automation.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A Master's degree.
  • Strong database skills, backends like Oracle, with strong working knowledge of SQL, PL-SQL.
  • Experience in Service Now Cognitive capabilities and use of AIML, Service Now business intelligence and reporting features like Performance Analytics and Dashboarding, Systems Design and Project Management.
  • Experience in RPA & Bots and Integration Hub.
  • Certifications in SRE, Cloud technologies, DevOps, Agile.
