What you’ll be doing...

As a developer for the GTS Front Line Experience team, you will be responsible for developing new applications and enhancements for existing apps used by both Verizon employees and customers. You will be able to apply your technical expertise to build innovative solutions that enable teams to work more efficiently and improve on customer experience.

  • Delivering new functionality to existing applications.
  • Ensuring delivered solutions meet business needs and follow best practices.
  • Completing testing, debugging, and documentation.
  • Providing support for developed applications.
  • Working in an Agile environment leveraging DevOps principles.

Where you'll be working...

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in Core Java, Spring Framework, SQL, REST APIs & Micro-services, JSON, XML, HTML/CSS, and React.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience in Angular is preferred
  • Experience in managing multiple small to medium sized technical projects.
  • Experience in Agile methodology.
  • Good communication and stake holding skills.
