You will be working on enhancements to our online self-service application and also our DevOps and Cloud transformation.

You will lead efforts to enhance and deliver new functionality on our application.  This position requires core Java web development skills along with experience working on a large scale customer facing application.  They will have experience working with an on-shore/off-shore team and thorough understanding of software development life cycle in both Agile and Waterfall format. They will need working experience in development technologies used to flexibly deliver a customer experience in Desktop, Mobile and Tablet  (e.g. angular js) as well as UX design and information architecture. They will also work with our application support team in profiling applications for potential bottlenecks.


Must have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Experience with all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle, including system analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation.

  • Extensive experience in J2EE application development on high traffic web applications with emphasis on user experience, including experience with CSS and JavaScript.

  • Strong hands on experience with designing enterprise applications for J2EE platform using Spring Framework, Struts, JSP, Servlet, JDBC/ODBC, Coherence, JMS and Web Services.

  • Experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (DevOps), including designing fully automated “build to deploy” model.

  • Experience with mobile browser technologies (e.g. AngularJS).

  • Hands-on experience with source control tool Git/Stash.

  • Solid experience serving as development lead, working with a team of Web and Mobile Development employees.

  • Experience with server-side rest web service frameworks.

  • Hands-on experience with Selenium scripts.

  • Experience with NOSQL databases Cassandra/MongoDB.

  • Strong scripting skills in python and shell scripting.

  • Proven, hands-on experience with Red Hat Linux, Windows.

  • Experience with ELK (elasticsearch, Logstash & Kibana) stacks.

  • Experience in Jira, Jenkins, and preferably Puppet.
