What you’ll be doing...

Candidate will manage all aspects of small cell construction on assigned projects. Tasks include but are not limited to, on-site construction management, coordination of third party vendors and utilities, OEM installers and customer agent.

  • Small cell node construction.

  • Ariel and subterranean fiber installation.

  • Utility pole make-ready assessments.

  • Coordinate activities with Project Manager and ensure timely updates are provided.

  • Project risk mitigation and scope change order validation.

  • Ensure onsite construction safety requirements are vehemently adhered to.

  • Identify, monitor, report and escalate project-related issues to achieve timely resolution.

  • Develop and implement corrective action plans to mitigate impact to project schedules and overall business objectives.

  • Utilize project tracking tools and systems to accurately document milestones completions, project issues, corrective action plans, project jeopardies, and overall project completions.

  • Maintain excellent communication with Functional Team Members and Direct Management to ensure early identification of issues a timely reporting of status.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Valid Driver’s License.

  • OSHA certification and RF Awareness Training Certification.

  • Experience managing wireless infrastructure construction projects in a field setting.

  • Technical and project management knowledge.

  • Knowledge and experience in implementing safety and quality standards.

  • Knowledge of local jurisdictional requirements.

  • Knowledge of PC and software application including Windows and Microsoft Office.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.

  • Ten or more years of experience managing wireless infrastructure construction projects in a field setting.

  • Five or more years of experience in inspecting and providing post-construction punch lists for quality of construction based on multiple wireless carriers quality standards.

  • Military experience.

  • Engineering, Planning, and/or Operations knowledge, especially with utility or wireless infrastructure deployments.

  • Experience with SRM/SAP as well as expense and/or capital budgets.

  • Excellent verbal and written skills for inter-organizational communications.

  • Strong organization skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple, often conflicting priorities to successful completion.

  • Experience making independent decisions based on policies, practices and project requirements.
