  • Help drive UX research, design and testing.
  • Immerse yourself in the user journey through our products and those of our competitors.
  • Facilitate and participate in design workshops and guide the UX design process through UX brief, research, wireframing, prototyping, testing and iteration.
  • Identify user problems and issues through hands-on user research and user testing.
  • Generate wireframes, visual design concepts and high-fidelity prototypes.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the needs of customers and users, and present findings and recommendations.
  • Work with Product Management, Engineering and other parts of the business to help span the gap between user needs and business goals, technical feasibility, market fit and commercial viability.
  • Be an ambassador for simple design, ease of use and user centred design across Verizon Connect.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or four or more years work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • UX design experience.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Customer End-to-end Design and/or Service Design experience.
  • UX capabilities .
  • Visual communication skills.
  • Experience of Lean UX and Kanban.
  • Willingness to provide portfolios examples demonstrating your problem solving ability through the use of Research, Personas, Journeys, Wireframes, Prototypes, and User Testing.
  • Experience in interaction design and wireframing and the ability to display the process from sketches to paper prototypes to low, medium to high fidelity prototypes.
  • Ability to learn and communicate the latest trends in UX and Design.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in an Agile environment.
