What you’ll be doing...

The senior network security engineer position will be the primary technical resource tasked with engineering and maintaining our Identity & Access Management (IAM) platforms. As a key member of the IAM team, the responsibilities will include continued development of the IAM framework and strategy as well as the creation and maintenance of technical design and operational support documentation. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong collaboration skills, detailed working knowledge of current and emerging IAM technologies, and familiarity with implementing IAM solutions for a carrier-class environment. The IAM Engineer must be highly knowledgeable about the technical infrastructure environment and must ensure that solutions are proactively deployed in a fully functional, scalable, and secure mode. This position will work with internal and external teams to determine and implement application/network security requirements, respond to security incidents, and provides guidance on security best practices.


  • Work in a distributed team environment where team members are spread across numerous locations and often communicate virtually.
  • Multitask and switch gears to meet changing priorities and tasks to accomplish goals/objectives.
  • Comfortable performing task lead responsibilities for small to medium software projects
  • Design, implement, and deploy IAM solutions
  • Responsible for working with the vendor partners or internal teams to design and deliver IAM solutions.
  • Collaborate with the security architects to create/maintain the IAM roadmap
  • Work with the teams to ensure standards are being followed for current and future IAM implementations.
  • Responsible for installing, configuring, customizing and maintaining the Identity and Access Management products.
  • Responsible for the overall performance and stability of the applications built using the Identity and Access Management products.
  • Analyze customer pain points and develop network architecture that will become solutions for our customers.
  • Evaluating current architecture and requirements, and proposing newer enhanced architectures.
  • Working effectively with cross functional teams to translate business requirements into product and software architecture and design.
  • Possess a hands-on attitude to work in a dynamic fast paced entrepreneurial team with an open, collaborative culture that fosters creativity.
  • Creating and maintaining network security documentation.
  • Developing scripts and programs to support the maintenance of security support systems.
  • Server maintenance and support.
  • Working in an on-call rotation.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
  • Strong knowledge of AAA concepts and methodologies.
  • Experience with Cisco ISE application administration.
  • Experience with common network protocols: UDP/TCP including V6, DNS, SSL, TLS, HTTP/HTTPS, FTP, SSH, etc.
  • Experience with security protocols like SSL, PKI, RADIUS, TACACS, EAP, LDAP, etc.
  • Experience with F5 Big-IP.
  • Experience with Operating systems: Linux, Solaris, and CIsco IOS
  • Knowledge with Splunk.
  • Experience with SQL for Oracle/mySQL.
  • Experience in scripting development and deployment: bash ,awk, expect, java, python, perl.
