What you’ll be doing...

You will develop learning experiences that will give our new Verizon Business Group employees what they need to learn to be successful and existing employees to be even better. Your programs and learning approaches will align with our business needs and be highly effective and in tune with our culture. You’ll design learning solutions that are engaging, fun and most importantly build those capabilities needed to enable our people to create the Verizon of the future.

  • Design and/or curate learning materials to support the Verizon Business Group .
  • Blend technical, sales and support curriculum to align with real world job skills for multiple workgroups who support business customers that range from small to enterprise in size.
  • Work with Verizon professionals, including program/project/product managers, sales professionals, leadership, operations, and training resources to receive, analyze, prioritize, and project manage training development and delivery requests.
  • Conduct detailed needs analysis, design, develop,and evaluate skills and knowledge training for all levels of Verizon's business teams.
  • Design and develop learning experiences using many modalities including: classroom, web conferencing, mobile, conference style, and eLearning modalities.
  • Conduct necessary “train-the-trainer” sessions to field trainers.
  • Lead all milestone SME and manager reviews.
  • Set schedules, manage internal and external development resources, and communicate progress and issues.
  • Receive broad guidance and be accountable for overall program results.
  • Manage archive of learning programs and materials.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in curriculum development for various learning delivery tools.
  • Creativity!

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in Captivate 6 or 7, Storyline, and/or Camtasia Studio 8.
  • Expertise with ADDIE and other development models.
  • Ability to quickly learn technology and technical concepts.
  • Understanding of business sales at various levels including: customer personas and sales capabilities.
  • Ability to develop and customize activities to ensure participant engagement and knowledge retention.
  • Experience designing for AR/VR and HTML 5.
  • Advanced consulting experience.
  • Experience with levels of evaluations.
  • Strong teamwork skills.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills.

Can be located in any Verizon business sales office.
