What you’ll be doing...

You'll be a key part of a Verizon Program Management Office (PMO) team supporting a large customer utilizing a broad spectrum of Verizon products and solutions.

Your primary role will be as the Problem Manager, working to ensure that operational performance is effectively governed, with a focus to drive KPI attainment and continual service improvement.

Some specific tasks include the following:

  • Provide regular Problem Report status readouts to the customer in both written and audio/video meetings.
  • Work with internal Verizon teams to drive performance improvements and craft recommendations to reduce and resolve problems documented on the Problem Register.
  • Gather and analyze data and metrics, and create reports showing Incident and/or Problem trends.
  • Prepare and deliver RCA reports for major impactful incidents.
  • Participate and present in monthly service reviews with key customer stake holders.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office product suite, including PowerPoint, Excel & Word.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • ITIL v3 Certification, or will obtain certification within 6 months of your start date.
  • Worked in a client facing role analyzing and providing improvement recommendations to operational problems.
  • Managed and negotiated with internal and external organizations.
  • Proactive skillet and be self-motivated.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic & team environment
  • Technical or analytical ability to effectively analyze and make recommendations based on data
  • Strong organizational, presentation, and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
