What you’ll be doing...

We have an immediate need for a Product Manager to join our Data Products team to identify and deliver additions to our growing suite of products. In this role you will leverage data assets to build one or more valuable products which will address needs ranging from basic data analysis projects through to advanced data science, AI and ML powered customer facing solutions.

Reporting to the Senior Product Manager for Data Products, you will be working closely with Engineering, UX and the Business to research, define and deliver next generation internal and/or external facing products.

Responsibilities:

  • Be the customer’s voice – start with the customer first and work back. Actively build customer relationships, understand business goals and pain points and represent the customer’s voice on a daily basis.
  • Be an authority on market trends, emerging technologies and competitive landscapes for the assigned areas.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit – understands and influence the product vision and strategy based on the needs of our customers and of our growing business.
  • Establish a shared product vision by building consensus on priorities, including executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Define go-to-market strategies, roadmap and Time Horizon planning for the Product or area.
  • Leverage opportunity evaluation methodologies, whereby priorities can be set based on business and customer value opportunities.
  • Partner closely with UX & Design to translate product vision and strategy into a great customer experience.
  • Create and manage Epic level backlog for the Product aligned to the priorities.
  • Develop User Stories and groom the backlog for one or more squads.
  • Embrace our Lean philosophy and look to drive continuous improvement, reducing lead time for our customers.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and a fail-fast philosophy in Product
  • Responsible for product positioning including articulating customer problems and solutions and partnering with product marketing to craft product messaging briefs for product launch cycles.
  • Assist with other Product Management responsibilities as needed.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/Commerce, Computer Science or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Two or more years of experience in Product Management or relevant field.
  • Experience performing customer research to inform product decisions.
  • Experience with Data Products, AI, Machine Learning and Big Data.
  • Knowledge of data privacy legislation and best practices.
  • Experience working closely with Software Engineering and UX/ Design teams.
