What you’ll be doing...

The Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) organization is responsible for leading all integrated marketing programs across the CMO and Verizon Business Group. The role will assist with the design of the marketing strategies, process and plans relative to launches, campaigns, promotions and products. The role provides internal communication of campaign progress to all stakeholders, agency briefings, GTM kickoff and ensures flawless execution.

The analyst role is responsible for

  • Strategic planning of marketing initiatives
  • Being a single point of contact (POC) for Verizon Business Group and CMO organizations
  • Assisting with the strategic brief writing
  • Managing communication priorities for Verizon
  • The integrated marketing processes

The IMC Analyst will assist in planning, managing, execution and reporting on multi-channel campaigns that increase brand awareness, drive demand and provide customer insight. You will have the authority and independence to ensure that requirements, communication opportunities and risks of the various objectives are identified, managed and completed in a timely fashion in order to achieve on time completion of the program and its phases.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with segment marketing leads to define campaign objectives, establish baseline brief
  • Partner with internal teams (creative, media, research, insights, competitive intelligence, go to market, PR, AR, events, legal) to refine campaign needs and finalize briefing needs
  • Assist with the development of strategic briefs for multiple products and lines of business, targeting multiple audiences – from working team to executive level overviews
  • Ensure all projects are aligned with established strategy and keep team members supplied with the information they need to deliver work that is on strategy and on deadline
  • Manage timelines and have your finger on the pulse of all program details so you are the one person who knows the status of any deliverable at a given point in time
  • Deep understanding of emerging business trends, technologies, business intelligence and competitive threats to share back with the business and insure strategy is aligned. Partner with Insights team to fill knowledge gaps where they exist

What we’re looking for...

You'll Need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or two or more years of work experience.
  • Threeor more years of relevant work experience

Even better if you have:

  • Master’s degree – more impressive if you have an MBA.
  • B2B Marketing experience
  • Experience working with marketing research, research strategy, or consumer research methodologies.
  • Digital experience and an understanding of trends and key business drivers.
  • Presented findings and insights targeted to what that audience cares about (up to the executive level).
  • Analyzed what’s important from a variety of sources to provide a holistic view of the marketplace, competitive factors, risks, and opportunities.
  • Highly effective communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Agency or consultant experience preferred, but not required
  • Ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously
  • Ability to translatemarket knowledge and strategy into compelling stories and tools for the sales team.
