What you’ll be doing...

The Wireless Supply Chain team is looking a Senior Manager of Network Engineering, who will lead a team of engineers that will manage Verizon’s Warranty Programs, Pre-Launch Device Requirements, New Product Introduction and other Strategic Supply Chain Initiatives including: 5G home device testing, repair, return and quality requirements, returns reduction & simplifications and Asurion Finished Goods Quality.

  • Leading the Verizon Warranty program including claim rate tracking, budget responsibility, and interface into the TMP leadership team.
  • Leading the quality assurance for our Asurion Finished Good program including: quality metrics, RMA management, and alignment with the Asurion team, in addition to be the Quality Liaison to the broader supply chain team managing Asurion Finished Goods
  • Leading the pre-launch device requirements team responsible for the introduction of 5G Home Devices and all NPI for Reverse Supply Chain including: quality, metrics, testing & repair requirements.
  • Providing Reverse Supply Chain Requirements and signoffs for all new device launches and manage discussion between Supply Chain, Device Marketing, and OEMs.
  • Creating an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture that focuses on developing the best customer experience.
  • Setting clear team goals for both short term and long term initiatives.
  • Driving business transformation initiatives for the Device Quality and Repair Team and continue to look for innovative solutions to drive cost out of the business.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degreeor four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Five or more year of experience managing a team.
  • Experience in a business operations role.
  • Willingness to travel on occasion.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or an Operations related field.
  • Master’s degree, or equivalent advanced degree.
  • Lean Six Sigma Experience.
  • Strong team leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Capability to be a self-motivated /self-starter with an ability to work independently.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with experience in influencing others.
