We require an experienced Full Stack Web Developer, for a key role in the FSD Tribe. This large development project is using the latest versions of .Net, SQL Server and AWS toolsets. As an integral part of our product suite this new platform will integrate seamlessly with existing fleet management solutions providing real time management capabilities for mobile workforces.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing functionality for core products, writing code that is clear, reliable and maintainable.
  • Maintaining and extending function of applications.
  • Writing automated test cases that cover an agreed set of scenarios.
  • Producing estimates for assigned tasks and report progress against agreed milestones.
  • Producing detailed code reviews.
  • Learning and sharing new skills, best practices and patterns.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
  • Experience of Angular practices and commonly used modules.
  • GUI design and responsive layouts (HTML, CSS).
  • Experience of ASP.NET MVC and C#.
  • Experience with common patterns in distributed systems (e.g. REST, CQRS, SOA, SaaS, web applications).
  • Experience in designing and building Microservice architectures.
  • Experience of AWS and/or OpenStack Cloud architecture.
  • Experience of Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 or 2017.
  • Experience of Unit Testing and Mocking tools, preferably Test-Driven Development.
  • Experience with an Agile development methodology, preferably Kanban.

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Broad technical knowledge, ranging from applications to backend systems.
  • Four or more years’ experience in software design & development of distributed systems experience with .NET Framework.
  • Experience with multi-currency and multi-language (International) environments.
  • Excellent communications skills to clearly articulate complex technical issues to all levels of the organization (both technical and non-technical).
  • Results oriented with a strong / demonstrated track record of successful delivery.
  • Experience presenting to both technical and non-technical individuals in project teams (developers & managers) to communicate design considerations, project status, and other technical issues that affect the software lifecycle.
