What you’ll be doing...

The Verizon Consumer Distribution Strategy organization is responsible for synthesizing the business unit’s overarching sales, marketing and customer experience strategies into a plan of action for Verizon Consumer Group's physical distribution channels (corporate owned, agents, and National Retailers).

The team works closely with senior leadership in the consumer sales organization, CX and strategy organizations, and makes evidence-based recommendations regarding the quantity and placement of stores, corporate ownership decisions, and the prioritization of capital investment.

In this role, you’ll work closely with the team’s strategists, researchers and data scientists to develop strategic plans, arrange data into coherent stories and calls to action, and communicate across the business to identify drivers of change.

In order to work effectively, you’ll need a solid understanding of your audience’s needs and for how Verizon's sales business organizations work today. You’ll use this understanding to analyze data and identify key trends, develop dashboards, guide the user experience and development of planning tools that analysts in the Areas will use every day, and participate in shaping the plan for every store Verizon opens.

This role requires many of the skills and analytical capabilities that business intelligence and IT organizations value, while bringing you closer to the core decision making and executing wings of the business.
