What you’ll be doing...

Verizon is investing in its network to improve the way we live, work, and communicate. Our network transformation will be critical for all our future connectivity business endeavors including new products such as One Fiber, 5G, and future smart cities. At the forefront of this effort is the Network Operations team and their support staff. A proactive staff who perform various administrative tasks including but not limited to scheduling, reporting and project tracking. In this role, candidates will attain knowledge of multiple labor union contracts, state/local leave laws and the ability to interface with Labor Relations and Human Resources. Experience with creating job aids to field supervisors and senior management on current and new RMG processes, procedures, and systems.

  • Drive individual, group and environmental behaviors effective time management
  • Ensure adherence to scheduling guidelines, vacation management within capacity guidelines
  • Ensure abscence/tardiness adherence
  • Collect and analyze data to measure gaps, performances, and use of data for efficiency purposes.
  • Building and maintaining excellent communication and relationships with several cross-functional teams

You’re no stranger to a fast-paced environment and tight deadlines, and you adapt to changing priorities and juggle multiple projects with ease. You take a lot of pride in your work, and that’s why people count on you to deliver.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Standardize methods and procedures for RMG processes
  • Two or more years experience with AMTS, Cognos, absence audit and STD/FMLA processes.
  • Proven experience in reporting processes for organizations to identify strengths and gaps
  • Proficient at PC and software applications including Windows and MS Office,and the Google Suite applications.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation skills and organizational skills.
