What you’ll be doing...

As a Technical Executive Recruiter you’ll be directly responsible for the full lifecycle development of external executive talent pipelines against leadership positions. In this position, you will be responsible for recruiting, sourcing, pre-screening, negotiating, and closing external prospects against Director-level positions enterprise-wide. You will develop sourcing strategies that target passive candidates as well as institute improved capabilities that attract and engage leadership talent for the future. With your strength in talent mapping, you will be the “market voice” of executive talent in delivering market intelligence that drives insightful hiring decisions. Your technical skills will also come into play with social networking tools as you formulate processes to support effective recruiting, candidate on-boarding, standardization, and network management.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Defining, implementing, and executing recruiting and sourcing strategies to effectively meet executive-level hiring demand.
  • Utilizing full-life-cycle recruiting processes to include sourcing, screening, interviewing, evaluating and hiring.
  • Turning the business strategy into an actionable talent strategy, personally executing searches while also partnering with retained search firms.
  • Developing and maintaining effective partnerships and working relationships with line management, HR, and all internal stakeholders with full ownership of end-to-end recruitment processes.
  • Delivering best-in-class relationship management with candidates, internal/external clients, partners, and vendors.
  • Assisting in the on-boarding development plan and implementation for successful transition of new hire.
  • Maintaining integrity of automated recruiting systems and other staffing information processes.
  • Ensuring adherence with all federal, state, and local regulations governing the recruitment process, including Affirmative Action.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have...

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience recruiting executive technical positions (including roles requiring cloud and cybersecurity expertise).
  • Experience leading strategic staffing meetings with C-suite executives.

  • A degree.
  • Experience in a retained search firm role, preferably from a top-tier technical executive search firm.
  • Proven ability to successfully recruit passive, diverse executive talent in a manner that can build Verizon's brand and fosters relationships and networking.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong client/customer service focus:
    • Proven track record in building credible relationships and establishing trust.
    • Exceptional client-facing skills.
    • Experience in adeptly managing demanding clients.
