What you’ll be doing...

Join our Verizon Governance, Risk & Compliance (vGRC) team focused on the delivering enterprise-wide compliance and risk solutions

  • Build and maintain project plan, including approach, scope, tasks, durations, work effort, dependencies, budget, planning, assumptions, risk profile, resource allocation, and deliverable definitions – all within the SDLC methodology.
  • Serves as liaison between technical and non-technical teams, in internal organizations as well as in client and vendor/subcontractor organizations, to ensure all project targets and requirements are met.
  • Manage all project documentation and work items such as requirements matrices, change request logs, issue trackers, UAT test plans, meeting minutes, etc.
  • Responsible for identifying and managing project risk factors, and anticipating and resolving project issues.
  • Ability to contribute and champion usage of structured project management methodology (to include Waterfall, Agile/Scrum, Iterative, etc.)
  • Support in the development of measures, metrics and procedure manuals for all Archer production solutions.
  • Partner with vendor and infrastructure teams as needed on technology upgrades, maintenance, and issue resolution.
  • Delivers informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical and business groups within and/or in client organizations.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Six or more years of PM experience.
  • Experience in development, maintenance, testing & support of software projects.
  • Experience working on compliance/risk/regulatory programs.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • RSA Archer Certification.
  • Experience working with tools used to support Agile practices (i.e., JIRA).
  • PMI PMP/Prince II certification, or relevant demonstrated experience in all aspects of project management.
  • Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle and DevOps methodologies.
  • Ability to work with various teams and at all levels of management to build relationships.
  • Ability to work independently with limited guidance.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written skills.
  • Organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
