What you’ll be doing...

Verizon’s Corporate Strategy’s Business Development & Partner Management team identifies winning strategic opportunities and leads the development of an ecosystem to generate new revenue growth and profitability. The team oversees business development to cultivate external opportunities, determining greatest fit and benefit to Verizon. As a key function, the team will drive market recommendations across alliances, commercial partnerships, acquisitions or ventures. To do so, the team is required to lead partnership management with external and internal senior leaders.

Reporting to the Director of Partnership Management, the Partnership Analyst will formalize and automate partnership insights across Verizon’s business units. Inaddition, this role will require build out of dashboards to retrieve data analytics in CRM tools such as Salesforce. Responsibilities will include coordination with external and internal senior leaders to centralize data and intelligence about Verizon’s partnership activities. This will include implementing and managing a partnership funnel system, analyzing and interpreting partnership trends, and developing dashboards and reports to drive the effectiveness of Verizon as a negotiating partner.

You will have experience in collaborating with a diverse set of stakeholders to get results across multiple groups and disciplines.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience

Even better if you have:

  • Extensive experience creating, manipulating, and editing dashboards within CRM tools (Salesforce experience preferred)
  • Experience implementing and managing team and program collaboration systems (Salesforce experience).
  • Experience developing dashboards or other visual communications that communicate complex data and deep insight in innovative ways.
  • Ability to pull data analytics through CRM dashboard and breakdown this information to be shared with the strategy group
  • Three or more years of experience in telecommunication, media or technology industries.
  • Experience creating and delivering presentations to executives.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience in managing large high-profile projects in highly matrixed organization.
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration with a diverse set of stakeholders to get results across multiple groups and disciplines throughout the organization.
  • Knowledge of Verizon’s product portfolio.
  • Ability to demonstrate strategic thinking, market analysis and creative thought leadership.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business or related discipline.
