What you’ll be doing...

The primary responsibility of the position is to provide tactical support for the Global Bid Management organization. This role will provide reporting, analytics, process improvement, and governance for the Global Bid Management Team. Candidates for the role must have a thorough understanding of reporting platforms as you will be building reporting strategies and also analyzing data/trends to formulate action plans for operational improvements.

You will leverage your knowledge of the Sales and Bid Process that allows for analysis of data and formulation of action plans in a timely manner for process improvement.

Responsibilities include and are not limited to:

  • Reporting development.
  • Process development and improvements.
  • Understanding revenue impacts to the business.
  • Implementing bid scoring strategies.
  • Researching best in class practices.
  • SFDC Bid Opportunity lifecycles and dispositions.
  • Create SFDC dashboards.
  • Create presentations using numbers and trending data.

This position can be located in any valid Verizon location with the willingness to work Eastern Standard Time zone hours.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Four or more years of experience creating automated reporting platforms.
  • Knowledge and experience with Salesforce systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint & Google suite of products.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Sales and Bid Management knowledge/understanding.
  • Knowledge of data analysis.
  • Project management experience.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
