What you’ll be doing...

As a Business Development and Strategic Planning Manager you will be responsible for winning, keeping and growing customers in a new market. This is a direct sales role where you will work with a cross-section of strategic accounts - primarily enterprises, helping them build, manage and scale their drone programs. The Enterprise Sales territory is the Great Lakes region.

You will be passionate about technology, drones, aviation, or all of the above. You’re a driven self-starter with a high level of personal integrity, who can collaborate across teams.

This role is responsible for driving the adoption of Verizon’s drone operations management platforms and services. This position represents a key element of the organization which will deploy, evolve, and support the cutting-edge technology vision over the coming years. Experience in Drone operations and technology, UAV or aviation is a huge plus.

  • Being responsible for driving revenue by supporting the sales of enterprise SaaS solutions to strategic accounts.
  • Negotiating agreements with business stakeholders, procurement, senior management, and C-level executives.
  • Working closely with the Verizon sales teams to support actionable territory and account-specific growth plans and executing.
  • Consistently meeting quarterly sales targets.
  • Supporting the sales cycle from hello through negotiation and close.
  • Prospecting and qualifying a combination of outbound and inbound prospects.
  • Performing customer-focused product demos using web tools and in-person to prospects and customers.
  • Developing proposals and quotes.
  • Maintaining a consistent pipeline, forecasting and sales cycle management.
  • Managing renewals for your portfolio of customers.
  • Teaming with Customer Success and Support teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Providing input to Marketing, Product and leadership on market and customer trends.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Four or more years of sales experience in SaaS environment.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to travel.
