What you’ll be doing...

As the Earned Value Managements (EVM) Project Manager (PM) you will have responsibility for the system certification testing of the Earned Value Managements System (EVMS) and EVM reporting requirements for the implementation and management of a large, complex Federal Government contract. EVM reports are an essential input to measure the performance of the project. The EVM PM will assist with the discovery, design, implementation and support of a new EVMS being implemented to support the contract. The EVM PM will be responsible to drive customer requirements discovery sessions, documentation, implementation, testing, and certification/acceptance. The EVM PM will be responsible for providing EVM data and reporting including the development of reporting formats, producing EVM reports and an analysis of the data. The EVM PM will interface with the customer, PMO and management as needed to present reports, analysis and provide input to required progress reports. You should be comfortable with complex technology and integrations and should possess experiencein project management of technology implementations.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain government sponsored security clearance.

  • Strong oral and written communications skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to be aself-starter who is motivated to achieve objectives and meet expectations.
  • Ability to work independently with a sense of accountability.
  • Four or more years of experience producing EVM reporting on technology implementation projects.
  • Ability to obtain public trust clearance.
  • Strong PC skills: Word, Excel and PowerPoint with emphasis on Excel to create reports.
  • Experience using organizational, project management and time management skills.
  • Results oriented, sense of urgency, proactive and flexible.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and frequently to changing priorities.
  • PMP Certification.
  • Experience with Clarity EVMS module.
  • Experience on Federal Government projects.
  • Reporting on Telecommunications implementation projects.
