What you’ll be doing...

The Project Manager of Acquisitions and Transitional Services will be responsible for supporting the processes in the Business Development group and advance the team’s goals to 1) acquire the assets or equity of operating wireless companies, 2) acquire the interests of our equity partners in dozens of markets large and small and 3) support the transition of acquired assets post close.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate and lead multiple cross-functional teams to administer network and other transitional services on time and within budget. Must take into account multiple internal and external stakeholder groups and different level of stakeholder groups (e.g. Director level) with various/changing stakeholder demands, requirements and intersections (e.g. Finance, Network, Regional Groups.).
  • Drive the overall integrated project plan. Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
  • Manage and monitor concurrent projects and anticipate risk. Identify and mitigate conflicts across functional areas.
  • Partners with other managers within Business Development on projects including financial analysis, transaction due diligence, regulatory research, etc.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, etc.) and database management tools.
  • Experience in leading cross functional teams and managing large-scale complex projects.

Even better if you have:

  • Adegree or Master's degree or MBA or Project Management Professional (PMP).
  • Experience in Accounting/Finance, Network, IT, Agile Processes, Product Development, Strategic Planning or Marketing.
  • Six or more years of experience within the Wireless industry with strong competency in VZW systems, practices and sales and support channels.
  • Experience within Wireless network and spectrum knowledge a plus.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, problem solving, project management, presentation, critical thinking and multi-tasking skills.
  • Proven track record to meet deadlines and to work in a fast paced, dynamic work environment.
