What you’ll be doing...

As a part of the Information Technology team, you’ll design and develop improvements to our customer care applications, like our Wireless Customer Communications platform. You’ll also work across the business to vet and deliver small to medium sized technology projects. The improvements that you recommend and implement will have a major impact on customer satisfaction, which will help improve our business and grow our customer base.

  • Collaborating with IT and business teams on projects.
  • Troubleshooting issues within customer care applications.
  • Supporting code and configuration updates.
  • Evaluating proposals to make sure they’re technically sound.
  • Supporting the implementation of upgrades and new applications.
  • Developing solutions using Java 8, Spring Boot technology on assigned tasks with ease.
  • Creating Rich user experience for the customers using React JS, Spring Boot, and REST API's.
  • Understanding the application design and work on the development and design of the deliverables assigned.
  • Utilizing DevOps tools like GIT, JIRA, Confluence, and Jenkins to work on the application deliverables.
  • Writing secure code which should not have any vulnerabilities reported.
  • Working on AWS cloud and cloud-native application.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle phases, including system analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation.
  • Basic understanding of computing software, hardware and networking infrastructure.
  • Three or more years of work experience in Java 8, J2EE and Spring 4 framework.
  • Experience in Rest Services, MVC pattern and Jasper reports.
  • Problem solving and debugging issues.
  • Two or more years of experience with telecommunication domain.
  • Experience in Relational databases like Oracle, PostgreSQL and ability to develop and maintain PL/SQL programming.
  • Experience in OWASP rules and mitigate security vulnerabilities using security tools like Fortify, Sonarcube, Blackduck etc.
