What you’ll be doing...

Responsibilities associated with this position include:

  • Implementing and using Salesforce and vLocity platforms (e.g., enterprise product catalog, APEX, CPQ, Data Model, Systems Integration, OOB Features – Chat, Chatter, Call, Co-Browsing).
  • Interacting with clients to analyze business requirements and converting those requirements to architecture.
  • Understanding the impact on scalability and availability constraint laid down to the components being developed.
  • Understanding business requirements and participating in architecture discussions to understand the system architecture and develop features accordingly.
  • Caring for code quality and security standards in accordance with Verizon standards, ensuring code-to-bug ratios are less than 10%.
  • Partnering with cross-functional global teams and stakeholders to deliver the work.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience implementing an enterprise catalog (e.g., CPQ, Data Model, APEX scripting).
  • Experience with service and sales cloud implementations using Live Agent, omni-channel, CTI adapters, and API integrations.
  • Experience with lightning components and data loader for data migration activities.
  • Experience with Salesforce administration to manage service cloud and code deployments.

Even better if you have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree with four or more years of experience with Salesforce development (mobile, desktop, omni-channel) and administration.
  • A Master’s degree.
  • Development experience using VisualForce, APEX, triggers, Classes, Java Script, Lightning API, Workflows, and Object Mapping.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Einstein analytics to build out data models for prescriptive and predictive analytics.
  • Experience with Email-To-Case, Auto Assignment Rules, Auto Response Rule, Support Process, Entitlement Process, Milestones, Path, Reports and Dashboards, SSO, Cases, Translation Workbench, and Knowledge and Chatter.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Integrations with Web Services (SOAP& REST).
  • Knowledge of architecture concepts (e.g., integration styles, architecture styles, patterns).
  • Experience with Devops Pipeline using Jenkins & Strong knowledge of Agile development principles.
  • Knowledge of customer journey experience and analytics.
  • Understanding of digital strategy and he ability to map out the same for the enterprise.
  • Knowledge of cloud services (AWS preferred) and DevSecOps.
  • ITIL and/or other, similar certifications.
  • Force.com platform experience, including understanding platform limitations (e.g., API and governor limits).
  • Familiarity with best practices to build and unit test, write automated test cases (i.e., unit and integration), and configuration management.
  • Familiarity with cloud platform security principles.
