What you’ll be doing…

Be a part of the rapidly growing Connected Car SaaS industry, as you work alongside some of the sharpest minds in SaaS software and mobile app development. Our engineering teams take advantage of the latest technologies to design, build and test solutions that are literally transforming connected vehicle around the world. We are looking for a principal software engineer to help tackle the exciting technical opportunities ahead. As our lead devops engineer, you will work hands-on capacity and immediate contact with application development teams of the Platform group responsible for backend solutions. Emphasis of the role is on continuous delivery and “total automation”.

  • Automate deployments using DevOps tools like Ansible, Jenkins and artifactory.
  • Use best practices for securing systems hosted in public clouds, especially AWS.
  • Communicate effectively with development, production and QA teams in coordinating systems deployment work.
  • Implement A/B testing and Canary testing.
  • Work with the Squads on the deployment of the code to all environments using the pipeline.
  • Build custom tools/automated software solutions to support the deployment for the engineering squad.
  • Writing clear and timely technical documentation.
  • Automate everything! To minimize manual work and meet security and compliance objectives in all aspects of the secured cloud ecosystem.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • A Degree.
  • Experinece in one or more of the following programming/scripting languages - Python, Groovy, Bash. (Three or moreyears of experience)
  • Experience with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins and experience in building release pipelines.
  • Two or more yearsof experience with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and/or Docker.
  • Two or more years of experience with configuration management tools like Chef, Puppet and/or Ansible.
  • Two or more years of experience with CloudFormation and/or Terraform.
  • Three or more years of linux experience with hands on skills for administrative tasks.
