What you’ll be doing...

You will be responsible for the strategic development, tactical implementation and launch readiness for all telematics go to market initiatives including: Pricing, Promotion, Product, Device and Process. You will develop and support internal communication plans.

Essential functions, responsibilities and activities

  • Works with a high degree of independent decision making, has a strong sense of urgency, and operates with a significant level of complexity in order to:
    • Anticipate, prepare and plan for launch readiness efforts.
    • Act quickly and decisively in order to address issues before they become problematic.
    • Drive business wide change(s) as needed in order to ensure launch efforts are successful and on time.
  • Evaluates, communicates and executes multiple decisions and periodically autonomously.
  • Manages and maintains a standardized GTM process to ensure consistency across launches regardless of priority and line of business.
  • Provides consistent team updates on GTM launches and status of initiatives across the VZT organization as well as with VZW (when applicable).
  • Prepares and presents GTM and launch documents to the VZT Leadership team and core (consumer facing) teams.
  • Coordinates all launch elements including communications, collateral, training, UAT, reporting & contests/SPIFFs.
  • Provide Sales and CS tools to effectively sell new pricing/product, service elements.
  • Ensures all channel teams understand and can effectively demonstrate the device specifications, features, product(s), pricing & services and requirements prior to launch.
  • Identifies reporting needs and requirements for new launches as well as communicates post mortem results.
  • Manages launch day’s command centers across work groups and as needed in order to troubleshoot key launch issues and gain resolution.

  • Collaborates, develops, gains alignment and reports out on key performance metrics pre and post launch.
  • Maintains and communicates accurate go to market plans across the organization timely and regularly.
  • Eliminates lack of product knowledge leading up to and at launch.
  • Increases employee engagement which will help reduce our sales cycle and should lead to an increase in sales.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Six or more years of experience in marketing project management.
  • Ability to create strategy and tactical execution plans that align with key business objectives, proven ability to deliver results, and has the presence and tact to work with key c-level leaders in partner organizations. Capability to interact with leaders across the organization.
  • Ability to bring various teams together (and regularly) to identify potential risks, accurately predict the necessary level of effort and resources involved to resolve in order to bring this product to market on time and without missed opportunities and or inform consumers of applicable product changes/benefits.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to travel.
