What you’ll be doing...

As the Product Marketing Manager, you will shape the marketing strategy and execution of OTT, Gaming and other Valued Added Services to exemplify the power and capabilities of the Fios and 5G network connectivity. Your vision and leadership will help us realize what’s next for Verizon.

  • Manage and lead a team of Product Marketing Managers.
  • Drive revenue growth through ongoing management of vendor relationships and the launch of new tactics.
  • Evaluate internal capabilities and external opportunities based on qualitative, quantitative and financial measures.
  • Review product performance, profitability, impact to shareholder value, and contribution to brand growth and customer delight.
  • Manage concurrent projects in a fast-paced, results-driven environment with equal enthusiasm for high-level strategy and tactical daily execution.
  • Drive and own product deliverables, ensure on time delivery and successful product launches.
  • Identify market and competitive requirements that will guide strategic marketing initiatives and product positioning.
  • Develop customer segmentation frameworks, targeting tactics and buyer propensity models to guide solution bundling and messaging strategies.
  • Work closely with the product, pricing and segment leadership to develop offers that address specific customer needs and market opportunities.
  • Lead cross-functional organizations through the offer development process, from introduction to launch, including pre- and post-launch deliverables.
  • Engage with marketing operations & go to market organizations to ensure effective marketing program & tactic launches.
  • Evangelizing the product portfolio both inside and outside the company.

What we’re looking for...

You have the ability to lead, build internal and external partnerships to drive product enhancement, and influence technical teams. You are strategic and execution oriented with the ability to start with a blank slate, operationalize the final solution, and lead all the steps in between.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience working with marketing research, research strategy, or consumer research methodologies.

Even better if you have:

  • Master’s degree or MBA.
  • Six or more years of experience within product management, product marketing or marketing communications.
  • Experience with marketing/product strategy and go to market planning, including working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in the wireless industry; specific experience and understanding of content and video products.
  • Experience recruiting, developing, managing and inspiring high performing teams.
  • Direct experience managing a P&L and evaluating the return on investment for product and/or marketing initiatives.
  • Experience launching consumer devices or products at scale.
  • Authored product, marketing and agency requirement documents and briefs.
