What you’ll be doing...

When a customer has a problem, you’ll be the one to help them out (even if it means getting a little creative), and if you can’t fix it, you’ll find someone who can. You’ll be the face of our company to our customers, ensuring that every interaction is a best-in-class experience. Responsibilities associated with the position include:

  • Providing technical support to customers with network problems.
  • Maintaining 13,000 devices for dedicated customers.
  • Documenting every interaction using one of many tool sets provided.
  • Advocating for the customer by escalating unresolved issues to the next level of support.
  • Monitoring ticket queues and following up to ensure timely and satisfactory resolution to user requests/incidents within agreed SLAs.
  • Maintaining user, customer, and departmental confidentiality at all times.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
  • Willingness to work in a 24x7 environment (e.g., weekends, nights, and holidays).

Even better if you have:

  • Formal technical education or one or more years of experience in IT networking.
  • Strong critical thinking skills as it pertains to technical issues.
  • An understanding of ISO/OSI model and IT networks in general.
  • CCNA or JNCIA certification.
  • Technical customer service experience (ideally an ITIL service desk).
  • Ticketing software technical and computer-based knowledge.
  • The ability to display integrity, accountability, respect, and excellence in one’s work.
  • A strong detail orientation and sense of organization.
  • The ability to work effectively on a team.
  • The ability to drive work forward with a sense of urgency, especially when resolving problems and maintaining a strong customer focus at all times.
