What you’ll be doing...

In this position you will have the responsibility of building Artificial Intelligence (A.I) deep learning / Computer Vision platform capabilities to support a variety of use cases. You will be responsible for developing the platform architecture and the software to enable deep learning (A.I) frameworks, video processing pipelines and computer vision models.

  • Defining and developing the microservices architecture to implement a highly scalable platform that supports a wide variety of computer vision models and use cases.
  • Working with product managers to translate the use case requirements into functional and performance requirements for the platform.
  • Developing the architecture and driving scaling solutions for underlying computer vision workloads.
  • Developing the underlying architecture for improving the resiliency of the underlying infrastructure.
  • Developing effective load balancing and service orchestration mechanisms to effectively utilize and scale the underlying workloads.
  • Driving the design and development of platform interface to other systems to address different formats of video inputs and provide the infrastructure components for metadata storage and streaming outputs.
  • Driving the adoption of new cloud technologies including serverless, and GPU virtualization paradigms to optimize infrastructure costs.
  • Driving prototyping efforts to evaluate multiple design options and develop recommendations.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, ideally your MS Degree.
  • Deep technical expertise of cloud infrastructure and platforms and building highly scalable software solutions.
  • Technical depth and breadth across a broad range of technologies to create more holistic and scalable products/services.
  • Eight or more years of experience in large scale technology projects, architecture and design.
  • Technical expertise with microservices architectures.
  • Strong expertise with Docker containers and Kubernetes.
  • Strong expertise with cloud orchestration.
  • Strong experience with GPU based infrastructures within cloud environments.
  • Strong technical expertise in deploying A.I models, Machine Learning and data analytics.
  • Familiarity with one or more deep learning frameworks (Yolo, TensorFlow, Densecap, Pytorch).
  • Prior experience in developing product or end-to-end technology solution architectures.
  • Strong experience with Kafka / MQTT environment.
  • Strong experience in building distributed clustered environments for scaling applications.
  • Deep knowledge of virtualization technologies and developing applications for cloud environments.
  • Strong scripting expertise to rapidly prototype applications.
  • Expertise with building REST based services.
  • Ability to integrate software modules and develop APIs.
  • Programming Languages: Python, Node.js, Java.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
