What you’ll be doing...

The Programmer Analyst is responsible for design, development, and support of a Business Intelligence (BI) / Data Warehouse (DW) environment. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the establishment of Data Quality Check (DQC) mechanisms, a Data Dictionary, logical groupings of data and reports, Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes, and monitoring mechanisms to determine both the health of the system and adherence to establish SLAs.

You will be a member of the development team responsible for development, deployment, and maintenance of a team landing page in support of the Data Presentation Team. Additionally, you will support the Systems Access Team by developing and maintaining access provisioning automations.

  • Works as a system admin for in-house applications. Related tasks include maintaining user roles, tracking issue resolution, performing ad hoc analysis of user data, and other general admin duties.
  • Works as a team member with senior technical staff on large, complex technical projects.
  • Works as a member of the Systems Access Team to provision newly hired representatives, as well as troubleshooting issues with systems access. Will also provision current employees as needed for ad hoc requests.
  • Completes assigned technical projects on time (e.g., analysis, designing, development, implementation, testing, monitoring, maintenance, production support, documentation, etc.).
  • Occasionally leads staff members and peers on projects. Performing project management activities such as planning, sizing, configuration, and scheduling.
  • Leads other Technical Support/Support team members in selected project activities. Acts as a subject matter expert while providing coaching to others.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Associate’s degree or two or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Finance, accounting, finance operations related experience.

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent field.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience programming .NET-based applications
  • Two or more years of relevant work experience with ETL design, maintenance, and job monitoring
  • Query Optimization including, but not limited to, indexing
  • Knowledge of Kimball vs Inmon Data Warehouse design
  • One or more year experience developing with the Angular framework
  • Two or more years of experience with System Administration
  • Two or more years of experience with dynamic SQL
  • Two or more years of experience with large datasets (in excess of 10 million records) per dataset
  • Three or more years of experience with one or more of the following platforms: SQL Server, Teradata, or Oracle
  • Four or more years of experience with an enterprise reporting tool (e.g. SSRS, OBIEE, Tableau, Cognos, Crystal Reports, Business Objects)
  • Good decision-making and leadership abilities
  • Strong organizational and problem solving abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
