What you’ll be doing...

You are responsible for projects involving the designing of audit controls to identify discrepancies between network elements and billing systems.

Controls are then automated using pre-defined logic and reporting. The complex logic ensures subscriber profiles are concurrent and in sync with billing to prevent customer interruption and revenue leakage. You will partner with cross functional teams to manage the architecture and design of provisioning systems. You must regularly act as a Subject Matter Expert and be responsible for managing large scale projects related to Subscriber Profiles.

With little to no supervision from the Reconciliation Supervisor, you will process sophisticated initiatives.

  • Attend cross functional meetings as the National Revenue Assurance Rating Subject Matter Expert.
  • Read, comprehend and approve all related project approach papers, recognizing and communicating Revenue Assurance related impacts to other core teams.
  • Write User Stories to drive changes for addressing process and functional gaps.
  • Develop new business rules to identify discrepancies requiring extensive knowledge of the technical aspects of the billing system, such as Reference data tables, CPI tables, VISION DACC edits, etc. as well as the entire Verizon Wireless network infrastructure; 3G, 4G, and 5G Nodes, Multiple Provisioning systems, multiple billing systems and the SurePay Platform.
  • Develop and run queries to determine root cause and quantify both subscriber and revenue impact. This requires basic knowledge of SQL, Visual Basic, the Data Warehouse, MARS, REVO and other database tables.
  • Assist in the development of new reconciliation systems to help improve the accuracy and efficiency of REVO’s current system.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Two or more years of wireless experience.
  • Experience with desktop applications, including Word and Excel.
  • Willingness to travel 25% or less.

Even better if you have:

  • Strong knowledge of Provisioning flows.
  • Strong knowledge of Network and IT infrastructure, including VISION, SCM, ACSS, MTAS, DMD, ETNI, OTA and MARS.
  • Experience with revenue assurance.
  • Background in Information Technology.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Visual Basic, to query the Data Warehouse, REVO and other database tables.
  • Knowledge of Vision voice, roaming and data rating systems, including all call flows and error handling processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand the technical aspects of the design and functions of billing systems.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Customer Service, National and Area Marketing, Network, IT and third party vendors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels of the organization, including senior management.
  • Strong, proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to think and work independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure with strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully work in a team environment.
  • Desire to learn and capability to assimilate new information and adapt to frequent change.
  • Demonstrated analytical, quantitative, and proactive thinking; proven organizational abilities.
  • Demonstrated time management and prioritization skills.
