What you’ll be doing...

The Salesforce Platform Manager is responsible for the day to day Salesforce functionality of the Large Enterprise Wireless Sales team. This position is responsible for understanding stakeholder asks and translating them into technical requirements for implementation by the IT organization. The Salesforce Platform Manager will assist in driving the Salesforce strategy for the Large Enterprise Wireless Sales team and will need to be up to date on the latest offerings from Salesforce so that they’re always driving value to Verizon’s investment in the platform. This position’s responsibilities also include support for Marketo implementation into Salesforce, the Enterprise Wireless lead strategy, and other 3rd party and internal Verizon applications that integrate into Salesforce. This position requires the relentless drive to optimize the Salesforce UX and continuously track the effectiveness of its functionality. The role will also be a point of contact for other Verizon systems facilitating communications, troubleshooting and UAT for new enhancements.

What we’re looking for...

You enjoy working with Salesforce.com solutions by using best practices in the areas of system decommissions (moving legacy systems to Salesforce.com), lightning apps and components, custom apps, changes to core apps, AppExchange Apps, approvals, workflows, product configurators, custom Price Books, commission tools, dashboards, attainment, contest pages, etc. Through your collaborative leadership style, you have experience working as a liaison between the business and technology teams.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Six or more years of Salesforce security model experience with hands-on experience in configuration and UAT testing for new enhancements.
  • Experience collecting business requirements and serving as functional lead on Salesforce related projects.
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations (API, AppExchange, Connected Apps).
  • Salesforce Administrator and Salesforce Adv Administrator Certifications.

Even better if you have:

  • Experience with Internal Verizon systems like OMNI, CMS and ECPD.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience implementing or enhancing the Salesforce platform for a service/call center type of environment as well as have familiarity with the indirect sales process.
  • Salesforce Sales Cloud and Salesforce Developer 1 or other advanced Salesforce Certifications.
  • Experience using Eclipse and ANT deployments.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and G-Suite products.
