What you’ll be doing...

Mobile Telephone Activation System (MTAS) is a suite of application systems to support wireless provisioning across various customer footprints. MTAS application acts as an interface between customer experience ordering channels and networking systems. MTAS converts IT provisioning requests into network readable format and enables/disable requested features in the network.

  • Serving as a business analyst attending Epic/Program daily grooming sessions, analyzing, scoping and accepting user stories to support system requirements for provisioning and inventory systems.
  • Facilitating programs for new product/feature launches, enhancements, network support activities, experience redesign, and tech stack migration.
  • Tracking and reporting project health and milestones for monthly software releases.
  • Obtaining required documents from business and network teams on time and converting them into functional specifications for the IT organization.
  • Acting as liaison between the customer and the IT organization in order to supply technical solutions to meet user needs.
  • Analyzing customer operations to understand requirements and determine opportunities to streamline processes and improve customer experience.
  • Identifying data sources, constructs data decomposition diagrams, provides data flow diagrams and documents processes.
  • Leveraging knowledge of technology trends to develop customer solutions.
  • Developing design and functional specifications, produces project related delivery milestones, and assists in post-implementation support and system enhancements.
  • Developing and maintaining the querying changes within the application modules and the ability to deliver those within the committed timelines.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Four or more years of business analysis or requirement gathering experience.
  • Experience with relational databases like Oracle, PostgreSQL, and PL/SQL programming.
  • Experience with Shell scripting and ability to work in a Unix or Linux environment for preliminary troubleshooting.
  • Experience with DevOps tools like GIT, JIRA, Confluence, and Jenkins to work on the application deliverables tracking and source code repository purpose.

Even better if you have:

  • Strong domain knowledge of Wireless provisioning or Telecom domain would be an added advantage.
  • Basic understanding of Agile development methodology experience.
  • Experience with flowcharting and documentation.
  • Experience supporting business requirements for large scale telecom applications.
  • Interpersonal, decision-making and leadership abilities.
  • Organized and problem-solving abilities along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Negotiation skills, and can work effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
