What you’ll be doing...
- Verizon is looking for an insights leader to oversee communications and brand strategy research within our Customer & Marketplace Insights team. You and your team will be driving change by championing the voice of the customer, linking communication insights to commercial outcomes and using your deep understanding of category trends and customer needs to develop transformational brand strategy.
- You will lead a team of custom advertising and communication insights managers, using storytelling and a deeply empathetic view of the customer to improve our creative and messaging across all mass media, digital and experiential channels. You will also develop best in class methods for understanding and optimizing the impact of our advertising.
- You will lead a team of data analysts who manage our large tracking studies (Campaign, Brand Health and NPS) to guide our customer experience and brand strategies by understanding what drives category behaviors and makes our customers happy.
- Provide insights and recommendations to Marketing, Creative, Digital and Experience Designers and media teams to achieve growth targets and accelerate brand relevancy.
What we’re looking for...
- 10+ years of customer insights or data and analytics experience
- Experience managing teams of researchers and data analysts
- Advanced knowledge of a variety of quantitative and qualitative market research methods and advanced analytic and modeling techniques
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Experience informing and influencing a variety of different strategies including: creative development, advertising effectiveness and brand strategy.
- Creative eye for persuasive, provocative, and effective communication. Able to communicate and work effectively with creative teams and digital designers.
- Strong data and analytic skills, especially experience managing or using data from a variety of sources including tracking studies, social media, VOC comments, etc. to uncover insights and drive business outcomes.
