What you’ll be doing...
Join Verizon in this position which expands our cloud security team with a role emphasis on risk mitigation. This exciting growth opportunity shall act in partnership with key stakeholders to identify vulnerabilities, then prioritize and implement detailed plans in order to reduce risk to the business. You shall be responsible for improving network and platform security posture by developing actionable risk mitigation plans, monitoring implementation of mitigation tasks, and validating remediation progress. Your role also encompasses delivering key metrics to stakeholders in common language that our partners can understand and act on. As security custodians of Verizon cloud and virtualization technologies, and thus part of our overall 5G strategy, the best candidates will embrace automation and innovation in order to ensure the best outcomes for our customers.
