What you’ll be doing...

The CSG (Corporate Systems Group) Programs and Strategy team is responsible for strategy and implementation of systems solutions that support ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and other systems activity for Verizon Finance, Accounting, Accounts Payable, Payroll, HR and Supply Chain. You’ll become an expert on corporate accounting CPS-103 policy to provide the analysis, set-up, administration, and executive support of Delegation of Authority (DOA) and Financial Workflow Approvals in the ERP systems. You’ll be involved in strategic projects and serve as the point of contact when leaders have issues or questions. You will manage service-related incidents and requests from customers to ensure a timely and accurate response. Monitoring incident and request progress through to resolution in line with service level agreements (SLAs) is critical, as is identifying trends and process improvement opportunities using insights gained from incoming and recurring issues/questions. You’ll be afforded an excellent opportunity to develop your leadership, technical and customer service skills.

  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams and leaders to analyze and resolve production workflow defects and escalated requests/questions.
  • Providing accurate, thorough, and quick responses to enable timely approval of CPS-103 workflows.
  • Providing tier 2 Help Desk for workflow approvals and delegation of authority requests to include coaching and guiding other team members
  • Collaborating and participate in delivery meetings to manage and successfully resolve production defects.
  • Setting up and administering DOA tables that enable CPS-103 compliance for workflow approval for dollar delegation and substitutions workflows.
  • Managing annual delegation of authority process to ensure that ERP systems adhere to granted leadership delegations.
  • Maintaining DOA tables based on organizational changes, role changes, new leader onboarding, etc.
  • Collaborating on requirements, analysis/specifications, and testing of DOA and workflow approval projects.
  • Maintaining the integrity of DOA data through ongoing maintenance/enhancement of system support processes and documented controls.

What we’re looking for...

You will need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with financial systems, procedures and Verification.
  • Knowledge of financial statements and concepts.
  • Willingness to work extended hours as needed while being available for occasional after-hours escalations.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

Even better if you have:

  • An advanced degree with a concentration in Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Technology (IT), Accounting or Finance.
  • Experience with SAP General Ledger applications and tables, or other ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, especially Excel.
  • Experience in process analysis.
  • Experience in corporate accounting policy.
  • Experience in the technology or telecommunications industry.
  • Knowledge of software development life cycle, Agile delivery methodology, and project management tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of Google Suite of productivity tools.
