What you’ll be doing...

You will to lead the team responsible for Verizon’s Radio Access Network (RAN). You are responsible for developing and executing Inventory Pooling, Vendor Managed and Co-Located Inventory programs, and ensuring timely delivery of equipment to support critical and high visibility project build outs – including 5G. You will be responsible for forging key partner relationships with strategic internal stakeholders as well as external suppliers to develop and implement end-to-end solutions.

You are well-versed and have hands-on experience with Supply Chain planning, forecasting, contracts, process improvement, inventory management, and ERP systems. You will interpret forecasts into purchase plans while managing capital budgets – developing delivery schedules and holding suppliers accountable to timelines.

  • Lead the RAN transformation objective and responsible for implementation of 2020 plans and beyond.
  • Design, implement and manage strategic supplier programs (VCI / VMI).
  • Develop key strategic supplier performance management KPIs to ensure suppliers meet or exceed their deliverables to the Network organization.
  • Partner with Network Engineering and Sourcing to develop SOWs for Supply Chain and installation services.
  • Lead efforts to ensure commercial agreements are completed to support strategic programs.
  • Manage IT improvement initiatives and Implement Electronic Data Interfaces.
  • Track Material Requests (MR’s) against forecasts and installation.
  • Benchmark existing BAU service deliverables against new program service deliverables.
  • Maintain adequate safety stock and balance Inbound and Reverse supply pools.
  • Lead and influence cross-functional teams in the design and implementation of transformative programs and change management activities.

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with ERP systems to create purchase plans and manage inventory.
  • Experience developingand deliveringexecutive communication.
  • Knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.

Even better if you have...

  • A degree.
  • A master’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, or Engineering.
  • Ten or more years of industry experience with strong competency in Supply Chain and Item Master management.
  • Experience in PeopleSoft, CATS (Fulcrum), Tableau and SQL.
  • End-to-end Supply Chain experience with demonstrated ability to manage process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a proven ability to engage and influence collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to apply data analytic techniques to pinpoint opportunities and design and implement strategic initiatives.
  • Proficient in engaging and influencing large teams and functional leaders.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel.
