What you’ll be doing...

You will work closely with Talent Management leaders to advance and support Verizon’s HR mission and Talent Acquisition priorities. This will include the formulation of Talent Acquisition strategies, development of critical initiatives, and communication of progress and results. You will have proven experience in a strategic business management role, with a special focus on executive support and communications. This role reports to the Executive Director, Talent Acquisition.

  • Developing strategy to drive key initiatives across the Talent Acquisition organization, both domestic and internationally
  • Managing key deliverables and monitoring results to effectively advance Talent Acquisition objectives. Serve as a liaison to compliance, training, reporting, and data analytics team and other key partners
  • Analyzing and interpreting data to influence decision making and create visually compelling content and communication plan for executive level meetings
  • Developing executive presentations for internal and external meetings including Group Reviews, All Hands meetings, speaking engagements, etc.
  • Streamline and optimize processes across Talent Acquisition to ensure a consistent approach
  • Responsible for strategic and cross-functional projects requiring collaboration across multiple teams to ensure alignment and coordinate action plans with clear action and deadline
  • Managing agendas, communications, and meeting materials for all leadership staff meetings, site visits, webcasts, and town hall events.
  • Running weekly meetings end-to-end, setting up topics and agendas to ensure strategic focus and clarity of deliverables and roles.
  • Identifying and taking on ad hoc strategic projects that require collaboration across multiple teams.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Project management experience.

Even better if you have:

  • Experience leading large-scale projects, with high competency in
    managing deliverables.
  • Experience working within an ever-evolving/demanding environment with changing tasks/priorities.
  • Excellent data visualization and creative PowerPoint skills.
  • Ability to develop creative solutions that address relevant and changing business
  • Experience managing confidential data.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, problem solving, project management,
    presentation, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills, including
    presentation skills.
  • Ability to plan and provide structure and organization in a fast-paced, changing
  • High degree of organization with excellent project management skills; experience
    working cross-functionally and cross-regionally.
  • Understanding of project financial and budget principles.
